Age & Identity Verification Policy
Adult verification for content providers and depicted persons, separate from visitor age acknowledgment.
Last updated: October 11, 2026Who must be verified
All content providers must be adults. Identity and age verification are required before new commercial publication, including for the provider account and every depicted person, including the creator. Government-issued identification and a reliable identity-to-person match may be required. A depicted person must also have been at least 18, or older where required by applicable law, on the recording date.
Current verification method
The restricted compliance workflow supports a manual review record: an authorized OWNER or ADMIN records the outcome, date of birth, evidence reference, expiry where applicable, actor and time. Until such a review is recorded, the person is NOT VERIFIED. New commercial publication is blocked without current verification, recorded consent and an approved content review. No third-party identity verification vendor or automatic document-authentication capability is represented as integrated.
The reviewer must actually inspect appropriate evidence and match the person to it through a suitable protected procedure. Entering a status does not itself authenticate an ID. Evidence references must point to records available to the operator in protected storage; ordinary public forms must not be used to collect identity documents.
Protection, expiry and retention
Identity/document records must be protected from public access and unnecessary staff access. Only necessary status information and evidence references belong in the compliance workflow; no raw ID upload is offered by the public reporting forms. Verification and legally required producer records must be retained for the applicable statutory, contractual and evidentiary periods. Expired, rejected, missing or disputed verification requires review and may prevent publication or justify suspension.
Visitor age acknowledgment and existing content
The site entry acknowledgment is separate from performer/provider verification. It is a self-declaration and is not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific viewer age assurance where required. Existing catalog items have not automatically been marked verified or approved by this implementation. They require retrospective evidence review; prior availability is not proof of verification. Local higher-age requirements, viewer verification, geographic restrictions and any external verification service must be assessed before commercial launch.
